10/28/06 Bible Study - Mark Ch 11: The Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem

In Mark Chapter 11, Jesus enters into Jerusalem. Then,
he uses the fig tree to teach us about believing in
our prayer. Jesus also warns those that don't treat
the temple as a place for prayers.

10/14/06 Bible Study - Mark Ch 10

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We will have a dumpling making activity in RAE's house
before the Bible study, which is in RAE's house too.

Here is the activity schedule for this coming
Saturday.

2:00pm - Start making the wrap. For those enthusiasts
who would like to learn the whole process.
4:00pm - For those who only want to wrap the dumplings
and cook
7:30pm - Bible Study

4/22/06 Bible Study - Potluck, Cecilia sharing, and Mark Chapter 1

We had a potluck party to celebrate Patricia & Tiffany for their Baptism, wow, we had so much delicious food to share!

We were honored to have Tiffany's Godmother, Cecilia, to give us a sharing. She told us how life with Christ has brought her back from depression and how her family has been saved, her sharing was very very touching and inspiring to all of us. We also welcome many new friends: Natilie, Li-Shuan Wu, Ann Lu, and Leng-Mei's dad Dr. Leng to join us. We also had Carol and her mom Angela as guests.

Nick and Tony led the Bible study, we started the study of the Gospel according to Mark this time.

We will have a potluck gathering to celebrate Patricia
and Tiffany's baptism. Here is the detail below.

*dinner, social, guest speaker*
7:30PM - Bible study

Style: Potluck - everybody brings a main dish plus
fruits or a dessert  to share, Tony and Wendar will
also provide facility,  a salad, refreshments,
utensils, some rice, and desserts.  The newly baptised
guests, Tiffany and Patricia, as well as our guest
speaker Cecilia, do not need to bring anything; they
just need to come and enjoy the event.
