There are a few announcements regarding Lighthouse2.
1) Our new and revised mailing list for Lighthouse2 is now lighthouse2-****@****.com
2) We have a revamped Lighthouse2 website http://lighthouse2-bible-study.blogspot.com/.
3) The Lighthouse2 20/20 consensus meeting is on 2/10(Saturday). A detailed email will be sent out later.
4) The period of Lent is arriving. For this period, we have decided to switch our bi-weekly bible sharing meeting to a weekly sharing of the PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE book. It's from 2/24(Sat) to 3/31(Sat). A detailed email will be sent out later. I really encourage everyone to sacrifice their Saturday nights during this Lent period to join together to read and share the PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE. It's especially encouraging because we are sharing the content as a group. It helps us, as an individual, to discover the purpose and journey of our life. With the sharing as a group, it really put our life in perspective, and helps us to realize our purpose in life and in Christ. For those who are determined, please get yourself a PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE book for a new chapter in your life.

Moderator Comment: Are we the Mustard Seeds?
When the group leader prompted the question, "Do you believe our group (Lighthouse 2) is the mustard seed (Mk 4:31-32)?" on his "20/20 consensus meeting" email to all members. I thought I saw "Mustang Seed" and laughed out loud. After re-reading the sentence again, I got his point. Do you?

4:24. And he said to them: Take heed what you hear. In what measure you shall mete, it shall be measured to you again, and more shall be given to you.
4:25. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, that also which he hath shall be taken away from him.
4:26. And he said: So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the earth,
4:27. And should sleep, and rise, night and day, and the seed should spring, and grow up whilst he knoweth not.
4:28. For the earth of itself bringeth forth fruit, first the blade, then the ear, afterwards the full corn in the ear.
4:29. And when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
4:30. And he said: To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? or to what parable shall we compare it?
4:31. It is as a grain of mustard seed: which when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that are in the earth:
4:32. And when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches, so that the birds of the air may dwell under the shadow thereof.
Let's come together this February to share our vision and mission that will grow ourselves, our family, our church, our society... and Glorify our God!

01/27/07 Bible Study - Passion of the Christ, Part 1

In Mark Chapter 14, Jesus had the last super with his
disciples. Then, he prayed to God in Gethsemane. After
the prayer, Jesus was arrested. We will relive the
passion of our Christ, Jesus. We will be sharing
Jesus' undeniable journey to fulfill his Father's
mission. What do we feel inside us?
